Whoever authorized this Canadian ad using President Reagan to attack President Trump should be fired. Americans don’t like it when foreigners try to influence domestic policy – in fact, we hate it. I love Canada because I love Canadians. They are wonderful, generous, kind people. And I mean that. Canadians also deserve political leaders who don’t try and meddle in American politics.

@JasonLaPlante5 @babsxVR @UpdateNews724 I’m not playing devils advocate, I completely think Alberta has valid concerns with Ottawa on certain issues but separation is like the least likely outcome. All I was saying in this thread is that Canada isn’t becoming the 51st state and Alberta won’t separate realistically.

@JasonLaPlante5 @babsxVR @UpdateNews724 Alberta will never get enough support to separate, the province won't go anywhere. Will they demand changes from Ottawa? Probably. However, Alberta isn't going to separate. The logistics alone deter most, hence why Quebec's referendum ultimately failed.
