just 8 hours ago one of the most talented fic writers in the fandom did a very good post addressing this exact same behavior and explaining why they're taking down their fics then someone proceeded to do this mmm yeah i think this went too far

these people always seem to forget that AI models were trained on fic, like millions of fics on ao3 actually got scraped to train AI! sentences and framing sounds familiar because it’s TRAINED ON FIC
