I literally followed @WilliamShatner with groceries in hand into a movie theater in Westwood Village and sat directly behind him for the entire movie, The Player.
Didn’t watch any of the movie - just stared at the back of the head of one of my all time heroes.

I can't believe William Shatner is 95 years old! He doesn't look or act like he's a day over 70!

@GaryCardone Why does that make me think of a house at night in the Louisiana swamp area.

You basically get to live an ungodly life and then say a couple paragraphs over and over and then go back out next week and do the same horrible things.
A Godly heart of surrender? No.
A rules based heart of stone? Yes.
Many of those Leaders are pagan versions of biblical Pharisees that Jesus rebuked.
Now I know why the mafia, the gangs, the drug dealers are all Roman Catholic. Ritualistic forgiveness with no guilt.

@Haskell1778 @xmikemac @DefiyantlyFree @ChooseGoodKarma Read the earliest records of the church fathers and the heresies being adopted by the Roman patriarchate, including heresies of gnostic and pagan influence. They were also alarmed that the Roman pope, who was a regional leader, kept overstepping his authority.

LOL — You’re kind of smuggling a whole sacramental system into there, aren’t ya? The problem is those texts that do not teach what you’re claiming. Acts 2:42 does not say “Holy Mass,” and calling it that doesn’t make it apostolic.
Second, “one faith” in Ephesians 4:5 is about unity in Christ, not some kind of submission to a ritualistic kingdom claiming exclusive authority.
Third, yes, faith without works is dead. Protestants who know their Bible do not deny that. But James is not teaching that works CAUSE justification before God; he is teaching that real faith produces fruit. Works are the evidence of salvation, not the engine of it. Abraham was counted righteous by faith before James ever points to his obedience as proof. That destroys the idea that grace is dispensed through Cath rituals.
Fourth, Mark 16:16 is too easy and clear, “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Notice the condemnation is tied to unbelief, not lack of baptism. Btw, what possible sins did you commit in the womb?🤣🤣
And finally, 1 Timothy 3:15 calls the church the “pillar” and ground of the truth because the church UPHOLDS the truth—not because the church invents it, controls it, or stands above it like Catholicism. A pillar holds something up. It ain’t the source OF the thing it supports.
So no, “faith alone” does not rob Christians of humility. The exact opposite is true. Sola fide crushes human boasting and Catholic egotism because it says sinners are justified by Christ alone, not by a bunch of sacraments, rituals, or religious performance.
Your church does NOT replace the gospel.
Your pope is NOT God.
Mary and the Saints can NOT save us…only Jesus can do that.
Thanks for posting.

People claim they have a problem with religion. They’re really saying they hate God’s religion.
Right is now wrong. We’ve fallen far. It’s God’s religion—ask yourself why you’d hate it. Luther’s errors, like his false view of works, have likely led many astray from the narrow road (Matt. 7:14). His misunderstanding of works has people ignoring clear scripture, where the apostolic church lived in organized religion, performing rituals ordained by God (Acts 2:42).
The martyrs were Catholic. They died defending the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist (John 6:53-56). Priests were tortured and told, “Stop saying the Holy Mass, and we’ll stop.” They chose death for the Mass, the true Passover for the world’s sins (1 Cor. 5:7).
No early Christians believed in faith alone, scripture alone, or once saved, always saved. None claimed to be born again without baptism (John 3:5). Heresy itself devolved over time. Early heretics had priests, bishops, deacons, sacraments, and the Mass. But reformers stripped away truth. They still believed in baptism’s grace, but as faith alone, scripture alone, and once saved, always saved took hold, virtues were severed from faith (James 2:17). Now, faith alone breeds a lack of holy fear, crassness, and stubborn preconceptions (Prov. 1:7).
The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is prudence (Prov. 9:10). Jesus said, “This IS my body” (Luke 22:19). Liberalism, stripping away moral and natural law, follows the same devolution (Rom. 1:21-22).
Obey your prelates who watch over your souls (Heb. 13:17). “Let the priest who rules well be worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in word and doctrine” (1 Tim. 5:17). Paul, a servant of God, worked for “obedience to the faith” (Rom. 1:5). “Behold, Israel according to the flesh: are not those who offer the sacrifice partakers of the altar?” (1 Cor. 10:18). “We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat” (Heb. 13:10).
Paul called himself a dispenser of the mysteries of God” (1 Cor. 4:1). Mystery—mysterion, sacramentum, sacrament. “That I should be the minister of Christ Jesus among the Gentiles, sanctifying the gospel of God, that the oblation of the Gentiles may be acceptable and sanctified in the Holy Ghost” (Rom. 15:16). “He that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh judgment to himself, not discerning the body of the Lord” (1 Cor. 11:29).
If the righteous are scarcely saved, what about the unbeliever or sinner? (1 Pet. 4:18). “Not everyone who says, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but those who do the will of my Father” (Matt. 7:21). Is obedience to the faith the Father’s will? (Rom. 16:26).
It begins with baptism into God’s one church, dedicated to doctrine, breaking of bread, and prayers—the Holy Mass, the world’s Passover (Acts 2:42, 46). But man-made doctrines of faith alone and scripture alone have severed virtue from faith, robbing Christians of humility, which is wisdom (James 4:6).
1. The early church was visibly united under apostolic authority, not fragmented by individual interpretations (Eph. 4:5).
2. The Eucharist, as Christ’s real presence, was central to worship from the start, not a mere symbol (1 Cor. 10:16).
3. Faith without works is dead, as scripture repeatedly affirms (James 2:26).
4. The church’s sacraments, instituted by Christ, are channels of grace, not optional rituals (Mark 16:16).
5. Rejecting God’s church is rejecting the pillar and foundation of truth (1 Tim. 3:15).

@xmikemac @DefiyantlyFree @ChooseGoodKarma We need to speak the truth, through scripture; sin, conviction, repentance, transformation, & walking with the Lord daily. Knowing Jesus is not being saved. We need scripture, prayer, and other believers. We can't add Jesus to our lives. We have to give our lives to Him.

@LangmanVince Still waiting on the condemnation of the 40,000 slaughtered.

How is it that they accept Christ as their savior, and are saved, and yet they STILL DO NOT believe for sure they’re going to heaven? Oh ye of little faith.
In fact, what they are saying here is that their Lord and Savior is a liar. That they have to do something in addition to the cross. Their ego & pride wins out. That’s the devil.
Yes, most of those teachings are pagan in origin, no doubt… But these are blasphemous.
Sad. The congregation will probably never read the Bible for themselves.
