🚨 BE AWARE OF @Wagerzcasino Wagerz is a new "casino" that appears to be following the same strategy Spartans used by offering streamers unusually large amounts of money to promote their platform. The difference, however, is that Wagerz appears to be nothing more than a scam operation designed to drain wallets and exploit content creators. Like they did with many other streamers, they reached out to me as well. I immediately started asking questions about where their funding came from and why I should trust them with my audience. In response, "Tom," who claimed to be Wagerz's onboarding marketer, provided the explanation shown in the attached image. They also reportedly sent out fake contracts and instructed creators to open their computer terminals and paste a random "token." Doing so would launch an executable file that allegedly contained the wallet drainer itself. One of my friends tested this inside a virtual machine and quickly identified the executable as a drainer. After realizing that my friend had executed the file inside a virtual machine rather than on his actual computer, Tom instructed him to run it again and complete the signing process on the same PC that had been used to create the Wagerz account. A screenshot of Tom's message can be found in the attached image below.
