@EmperorBigD Strangely enough, both Daizenshuu 7 and its updated version, Chōzenshū, have the exact same chronology — and the movies with Garlic Jr. and Cooler are literally included in the official timeline.

The Daizenshuu 7 History of Time is very very dated and even back then didn't apply; it 'canonizes' many Z movie and fillers, which is impossible to fit w/ the manga or Z anime. The GT/Daima being a 'branching' timeline isn't there because the book was printed years before Daima or Super. So yet again... fans making up their own 'canon'.

Here is the Dragon Ball chronology based on official data from (Daizenshuu 7 and updates from the Chōzenshū 4 version). As you can see, the Garlic film and the first Cooler film are canon. Also, the DBZ film Battle of Gods belongs to GT. In DBS, the canon films are DBS: Broly and DBS: Super Hero. After Dragon Ball Z, there are immediately three branches (DB GT, DBS, and DB Daima). All of them are official continuations of DBZ, but there is no connection between them; each is official within its own storyline
