@xRay_Reaper @Sebbywebz @KOFwizards Do you know what a survey or research are? 6k is a big sample that shows what players think. If you change it to 12k results will be simmilar, if you change to 24k again.

People think Final Fantasy XII is a bad game just because of the Gambit system. But they also forget that it's a feature you can disable, and at the same time, it's such a complex system that I doubt you don't need it if you want to achieve 100% completion.

@TheYoungGuy @KOFwizards @Sebbywebz E33 incorporated a lot of classic JRPGs, like love letter. Legend of Dragoon, Super Mario RPG, Chrono Trigger and of course Final Fantasy. The writing especially is very mature like classic FFs used to be.

@TheYoungGuy @KOFwizards @Sebbywebz E33 is a JRPG in every word of the genre. I is similarly designed as a classic FF Game with parts of classics such as Super Mario RPG etc etc. I wouldn't say that Rebirth would be better if it was turn based. The writing needs to be better too.

@TheYoungGuy @KOFwizards @Sebbywebz Its Final Fantasy. It should automatically sell well. That Rebirth and 16 did not is indication enough about the quality of the game.

@xRay_Reaper @TheYoungGuy @Sebbywebz Expedition is a great game and deserves what it is, Final Fantasy on the other hand opted to go in a different direction, but I'm glad that both have done well.

@TheYoungGuy @Sebbywebz @KOFwizards But in that part I agree with him. The Metascore isn't representative whether a game is good or bad. Lies of P has a 80 Metascore yet is undoubtetly a much much better game. The Userscore for Rebirth was voted by very few people.

And thats mostly the people who rate it on Metacritic and such. Compare the Review numbers from Expedition and Rebirth. Expedition has 4x more reviews.

@KOFwizards @TheYoungGuy @Sebbywebz No not really. Casual fans were turned off, because Rebirth has lazy open world design with some of the worst side activities ever seen. OG fans are turned off because Square made FF7 a cringe, confusing and horrible mess. Modern FF fans accept anything with the name FF in it.

@TheYoungGuy @Sebbywebz @KOFwizards No thats a lie. He said multiple times that he is fine with people liking Rebirth. They only shouldn't pretend that its the same as the OG. To FF12: Why should you make your life harder when the game gives you this on your hand? Why implement the gambit System to begin with?

He doesn’t accept other perspectives.He even said that he do not believes in positive players reviews for ff7rebirth.

@KOFwizards @TheYoungGuy @Sebbywebz Remake wasn't well received. Rebirth was bought by very few people and also the User Score is from very few people. A lot of players didn't even buy Rebirth.

@xRay_Reaper @TheYoungGuy @Sebbywebz My perception over all these years is that many Final Fantasy games were sacrificed to achieve the perfect balance between turn-based gameplay and something more frenetic, which is why the remake was so well-received.

@deon_lt I disagree. Its not as bad as later entries, but its still painfully mediocre which is not enough for this franchise.

I just had the strongest urge to play, in my opinion, a much overhated FF game.....

Yeah, FF12 is a game for sophisticated adults, so I can see how you wouldn't like it.

@DeanGagaKennedy True. I don't like RE6. I think RE3R is a good game mechanically, but a terrible Remake. My hot take: RE7 is only good for the first 2/3 of the Game, then it falls of a cliff with the awful boat section.

If you dislike or criticise something about a Resident Evil game or even dislike a game in the franchise doesn't make you any less of a fan.
