Full transparency moment. Yes I have taken a very long break from streaming. Some scary shit happened to me while I was at the last DH and on top of that I’ve been extremely focused on my family and my everyday life outside of stream. I busted my ass off last year and then basically tossed and discarded aside for speaking up. I have not just felt the burn from the industry but the burn out ontop of it all. I’ve honestly have been battling so much crap that only a few actually know about so it’s time to share with you. 1. 2 years ago I was facing homelessness 2. 1.5 yr ago I got into not just a first fight but a disgusting behavior on my part type of fight with my absolute bestfriend. Realization of this led me to #3 3. I called an immediate mental health hotline on myself for I realized I truly needed help the mental breakdown and demons were winning. Taken out of work due to mental health issues 4. 1 yr ago I started self sabotaging every healthy relationship around me for I have always lived life in chaos. 5. Finally get diagnosed with CPTSD a lot of things about me started making sense 6. 1 yr ago was faced with an eviction notice 7. 1 yr ago I entered Kick Road put every ounce of my soul into each stream and piece of art I created to try and save my home for my family. 8. I win kick road art category, enjoyed Dallas DH to find out that the winnings wouldn’t be received for 3 more months. When we were told it would be that weekend. 9. Convinced former complex to wait for my winnings (which they did) 10. Went through mental shit and self sabotaging I broke up my family thinking that everyone would be happier or better off. 11. My mom gets diagnosed with lymphoma 12. Had KPP taken away due to viewer inflation during the two months of kick road so basically being a contestant in kick road and kick featuring me all the time during said contest cost me KPP. (Contest was “designed” to get people to partners) 13. Go to DH, while dealing with stalker like issues at home but then to have to deal with really BAD parasocial relationship towards me, also told I’d get my KPP back that weekend and was lied to by two very known big bosses that work for Kick. These are my 13 reasons why I’ve been so MIA and so burnt out. Cause ontop of all of that I am a mother first so I had to and still do fight myself everyday to only make her proud of me. Streams will come back eventually and I am truly sorry for hiding under a rock for so long but every second away has matter and helped me. The SnixSnacks that you all love is slowly coming back. I see her and she’s not waiting for her sunshine to comeback she’s taking it back. To all who have read this far thank you for listening to my story, my truths and my ugly that I’ve been healing and working on. To the few who stayed by my side through all of this you have no clue how important you are to me and to my heart. And to all those who are struggling it’s ok to not be ok and to need help and get. You are the author of your own story change the narrative if you don’t like it. I adore you all and appreciate the community for loving me the way that you guys do.
