@leonsale1 @Kinza1278 Same for here in Barbados. Manual license allows you to legally drive both but Automatic doesn't.

Most cars, infact nearly all cards up until the last few years have always been manual in the UK & Europe (stick shift in America). You would always take your manual test and you could drive an automatic on that license. BUT you couldn't take a test in an automatic and drive a manual. So everyone learned and got tested on the manual so you had both licenses automatically. 👍

My boyfriend surprised me with a birthday trip to Zanzibar. Everyone kept saying how romantic it was. Meanwhile the entire vacation felt weird. He kept disappearing to “take work calls.” Smiling at his phone. Turning it away when notifications popped up. One night I woke up around 3 a.m. and realized he wasn’t in bed. I found him downstairs near the beach bar sitting with another woman. Not kissing. Not touching. Just sitting very close, laughing in that soft intimate way people do when they already know each other too well. When he saw me, his face changed immediately. And before I could even speak, the woman stood up and said: “Oh my God… you didn’t tell me she came.” SHE CAME. Like I was the side quest interrupting their vacation. Turns out they’d been talking for months online. He invited her to Zanzibar too, just on “different days” so the schedules wouldn’t overlap. Except they overlapped anyway because men who lie are rarely as smart as they think they are. I spent the rest of the trip alone by the pool drinking overpriced juice and pretending I wasn’t humiliated. Best part? He kept asking me not to “ruin the vacation with negativity.”

I was getting body shamed at dinner. My little brother ended it in one sentence. My uncle’s been making comments about my body since I was 12. Always loud enough for everyone to hear. Always with that smug little smile. This year at Thanksgiving, I reached for a second piece of bread and he goes, “Better slow down. Boys don’t marry girls with thunder thighs.” A few people laughed. I froze. My mom just looked down like she always does. Then my little brother put down his fork and said, “Uncle Rick, haven’t you been divorced three times? Maybe stop giving dating advice.” The whole table went silent. My uncle stood up and walked out without another word. My brother just passed me the bread basket and said, Eat. You’re perfect.

@nickimoraa I work in customer services and people always think they can cut the line because they have to get to an appointment at e.g: 8:30 and it is 8:15. My response to that usually is, either go to your appointment then come in because you wouldn't want someone to do it (cut) to you.

At the supermarket, someone cut the entire line like we were invisible. The cashier just kept scanning like nothing happened. I said, “oh, are we all cutting now or…?” The people behind me started murmuring. The lady turns and goes, “I’m in a hurry.” I said, “we all are. That’s why we’re in a line.” Cashier finally pauses and goes, “please join the queue.” She sighed like we were the problem and walked to the back 😭

@nickimoraa Happens at my work but other way around. Sometimes customers would by pass me to talk to a male and I let them because I have no time for that. I have more automechanic experience them.most of them

My boyfriend works at a shop where 90% of the staff are women. And you just KNOW some customers march in demanding to "speak to a man." So, the female worker calls my boyfriend from the storage. These women have to wait, like, ten minutes because he's usually busy. He finally comes out and the conversation pretty much always goes down like this: "What can I help you with?" "Oh, I need this specific plumbing part for this super specific project." Boyfriend: "No clue, ask her."

My son’s now ex girlfriend asked him for $500. I took the phone and asked to speak to her mom. My son was confused bc he didn’t even have $500, and he definitely didn’t understand why I was upset. Her mom gets on the phone and says, “What’s wrong with him giving my daughter $500?
