I never officially announced the Founding of @Luminaggs so this is my official "Founder of Lumina Post" (apologies for it being so long) 🫶
Building an esports organization isn’t just about winning trophies or hitting milestones it’s about the quiet, exhausting, and beautiful grind of turning a dream into a reality.
When I first started, I’ll be the first to admit I didn't have a clue. I was just someone with a passion and a vision, stepping into a world that doesn’t come with a manual. I’ve spent years now in the trenches learning how to lead, how to be a part of a team, how to scale, and how to navigate the relentless pressure of this industry. Every skill I have today was forged through trial and error, late nights, and the kind of stress that truly changes you.
But the hardest part of this journey hasn't been the logistics or the long hours. It’s been the people.
There’s a unique kind of grief in looking around and realizing the people you assumed would be by your side forever are no longer there. As you grow, the "circle" changes. Sometimes paths diverge, sometimes visions clash, and sometimes you just have to say goodbye to friends you thought were your foundation. Those losses stay with you. They make the wins feel a little quieter, but they also teach you the value of those who do stay.
Through all the turnover and the growing pains, the one thing that keeps me grounded is the community. In esports, the line between supporter and friend is beautifully thin. You realize that Lumina isn’t just a brand or a business it’s a heartbeat. It’s the shared excitement after a win and the collective support during a slump. It’s a reminder that even when the journey feels lonely at the top, there are thousands of hands holding up the foundation and even in times that amount is smaller, the strength behind the ones still standing will always be enough to rebuild.
To everyone who has been part of this story whether you were here for a chapter or you’re still turning the pages with me thank you. You’ve helped me become not only the person, but the founder I am today.
The road ahead for Lumina is long, and I know there will be more lessons to learn and more sacrifices to make. But for the first time, I feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. I’m not held down by visions that seem out of sight anymore, i am surrounded by likeminded individuals who have the same ideas, the same sense of safety and welcome. I’m a founder, a student of the game, and I’m more excited than ever to see where we go next.
The journey continues. 💜✨
