A disgrace for the Clubs community 🇳🇱🇪🇺
Today we participated in Leftlane United Clubs Cup organized by @hennesheijmans and @DjaniBoi .
The cup had a 120€ entry and started 10:30am UK.
After spending several hours waiting between each round, due to very poor management from the admin side we had the most shocking decisions made against us on two occasions.
1. In winners bracket we got firstly banned from the tournament for cheating because after the opponent scored in the 60th minute, multiple players from both teams got a well known bug "EA Syncing Error" getting disconnected from the match.
The opponent reported us for cheating knowing the admins were not experienced. They had no clue about this issue, and after 1 hour debating and showing proof of previous games in cups where this happened we got the ban overturned.
According to the rules, the match should have been replayed, at least the last 30 minutes with the score staying as it was. That was not the decision and we got wrongly relegated to the losers bracket.
2. In losers bracket we got banned from the tournament for "using glitches".
We were winning the match 3-0 easily at the minute 43 of the first half when the opponent left the match.
We reported the score as a 3-0 win mentioning they left the match.
After waiting again for over 1 hour, with no comms whatsoever from anyone from the admin team, we were told we were getting defaulted because of "kick-off glitch" and "corner glitch". Both don't exist in Clubs as anyone with some experience playing the mode knows as the players are all human controlled.
The proof sent by the opponents were TikTok videos from Ultimate Team like tutorials showing how to do kick-off glitch.
The admins decided in their favour.
So, after 7 hours playing this cup, we got removed from it, for absolutely no reason.
This is the most shocking decision we ever encountered in 4 years playing together.
Someone with no knowledge of Clubs can't organize tournaments.

Since the start of this EAFC the connection to the closest server has been broken in Clubs friendlies.
Portuguese teams could rarely connect to Madrid (Spain) server, even though the distance difference to any other server is more than 1.000km.
What Portuguese teams would do is to try to leave the match and resend the invite multiple times to try to have some luck and connect to it.
Bare in mind last EAFC Portuguese teams always played in Madrid server, averaging 10-20ms ping and never had issues.
More concerning issues started 3-4 weeks ago, when connecting to Madrid become impossible. The server seems offline at least for friendlies in Clubs or the routing is not being done properly.
All Portuguese teams started to connect to Paris server (France), averaging 35-40ms. This is still playable conditions but ping is already noticeable. And while playing competitively, Portuguese teams should not have to endure playing on "away" ping all matches.
Since Monday teams can't even connect to Paris server. We are not sure to which server teams are connecting but everyone is having 50-60ms ping.
Even if 2 Portuguese teams face each other the ping won't change.
We need this fix prioritized to be able to play the game properly.

A Federação Portuguesa de Futebol e todo o Futebol português estão completamente devastados com a morte de Diogo Jota e do seu irmão André Silva, esta madrugada, em Espanha.
Muito mais do que o fantástico jogador, com quase 50 internacionalizações pela Seleção Nacional A, Diogo Jota era uma extraordinária pessoa, respeitado por todos os colegas e adversários, alguém com uma alegria contagiante e referência na própria comunidade.
A Federação Portuguesa de Futebol exprime as mais sentidas condolências à família e aos amigos de Diogo e de André Silva, assim como ao Liverpool FC e FC Penafiel, os clubes onde, respetivamente, alinhavam os jogadores.
A Federação Portuguesa de Futebol já solicitou à UEFA um minuto de silêncio, esta quinta-feira, antes da partida da nossa Seleção com a Espanha, no Europeu feminino.
Perdemos dois campeões. O desaparecimento de Diogo e de André Silva representam perdas irreparáveis para o Futebol Português e tudo faremos para, diariamente, honrar o seu legado.
