When I entered the FGC, the top players in SF would play anyone (Except most of EG, you had to pay $20 for a FT3). If it wasn’t for Valle, Dieminion, K-Brad, etc. I would have been left the scene. You can barely get games with the new cats of the scene. Too Hollywood now.
