A map is a memory index. I’m adding Mapbox filtering: tap a place → instantly see matching days/photos.  This is the closest thing to bringing my family “into the trip” from far away. Map as primary nav or secondary filter? #Mapbox

My first unlock: Google Docs diary → export TXT → AI outputs daily entries (date/place + title + short summary) Photos → EXIF/GPS extraction → images.json AI Merge them by date → master JSON where every day links to the right media. Next -> automate this process

@TyReamer yup, at the same time it also help me to visualize my journal. Filter days, locations and mood (I'll implement map viz). If i can put everything in a free WP theme, everyone can use it to visualize his/hers trips and share to a close audience.

The private timeline concept makes sense here. Public social stays performative because the audience is unknown. Building it for a specific group of people who already know you changes what you document and how. The visual piece probably does something for family members who do not read long blocks of text anyway.
