@itoyo_47 @fukuchin6666 There is a tax for foreigners on accommodation. I paid almost a 25% tax when booking a hotel in Shinjuku. Granted, I spent almost 70k yen a night, but by no means do I consider that cheap. I saved up for months. I wanted to stay somewhere cool.

@tuuu28283 I spent about that on a really nice room in Shinjuku. Yeah, it’s expensive, but the hotel is perfectly located, and the room is awesome. I’m really excited to come visit again.

@chris420blaze_ If you’re trying to produce thc or cbd for concentrates, MAYBE I could see it at scale working, but your thc and cbd percentages in the final product are gonna be crap. And you get out what you put in…. Yeah, you’ll have a field of weed, but I don’t think it’ll sell.

Do you believe $10 pounds are real? 🤔 You can grow cannabis hillbilly style on the cheap, but the only problem is that the governments won't allow you to do that. They require hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars in garbage costs, just to qualify for the license.

@chris420blaze_ Lemme ask you this - what’s your goal? If it’s to produce anything besides hemp, you’re wasting time. Are you at least using feminized seeds? And if you’re not are you gonna go through and cull the males? They’ll grow, but your product is gonna be crap.

@thatguyCJB Fan service? I think it has its place. It can be funny… à la interspecies reviewers. Or be part of the plot like kill la kill. The incest though? Meh…

@shrededward @tuuu28283 Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed all those meals. The food was outstanding, but something about the humble hamburg steak meal set just made me feel at home. It felt the most authentic. Sitting there in a tiny restaurant full of Japanese people having lunch. Can’t explain it

@xboosh @tuuu28283 Yakitori requires a special place. It's more of an experience. Find a popular small yakitori restaurant. My favorite so far is Hinotori in Shinjuku. tabelog.com/en/tokyo/A1304… Somewhat rude chef, but that's part of the charm. Incredibly cooked, and the best I've had in Japan.

My American brothers and sisters🇺🇸 When people think of Japanese food, they usually think of sushi, ramen, tempura, or wagyu. 🍣🍜🍤🥩 But if I could recommend just one thing for you to try… It would be miso soup. 🍲 I feel like a bowl of miso soup captures the heart of Japanese home cooking. It’s simple, comforting, and something many Japanese people grow up drinking almost every day. If you ever visit Japan, please don’t skip the miso soup. 🇯🇵

My American brothers and sisters🇺🇸 How often do you visit Japan? 🇯🇵 Do you come every few years, or is it more like a once-in-a-lifetime trip, like for your honeymoon? I’d love to know!

@danosseasoning I came across one bottle of danos at my local grocery store - it was cheesening. The algo has been feeding me your vids for months now, and I picked it up and had it in my hand. Then I looked at the price. 8.99. Can someone tell me if it’s really worth that?

Remember when Butter Dust and Cajun were the new kids on the shelf? Now they're pantry staples for thousands of Fan-Os, and recipes like these Air Fryer Salmon Bites are exactly why. Perfectly cooked salmon, a little Cajun kick, and that rich buttery flavor from Butter Dust make every bite absolutely Dantastic. If it's been a while since you've made these, consider this your sign to bring them back to the dinner rotation. What's the first recipe you made with Butter Dust? Yum Yum Get Ya Sum

@AE86_Y0u0P If they weren’t so dang expensive! Prime examples can go for 20,000 dollars. You’re paying 8-10 for a rust bucket

@tuuu28283 When I was in Japan at a family restaurant, I saw someone summon a waitress with sumimasen. I followed suit, but it felt weird because in America you wait for the waitress to come to you. Is calling a waitress with sumimasen rude in Japan or no?

My American brothers and sisters, Here’s a fun fact about Japanese! We use the word “Sumimasen” for so many different situations. “Sorry.” “Excuse me.” “Thank you.” (when someone does something for you) “Can I get through?” “May I ask you something?” It doesn’t always mean we’re apologizing. Sometimes it’s our way of saying, “Thank you for taking the time to help me,” or “Sorry to bother you, and thank you at the same time.” It’s a small word with many meanings.

@HSGARAGE1 I don’t know how it would work on patina finishes, but this stuff is pretty nice. Keeps water beading for a while and the bug splatters wash off easily.

My American brothers and sisters, Do you have a better idea of what a ryokan is now? 😊 It usually costs a little more than a hotel, but you get to experience traditional Japanese culture, amazing hospitality, and often a delicious Japanese dinner and breakfast. If you stayed at a ryokan, how much would you be willing to spend per night? I’m looking for the most common answers so I can recommend some great ryokan in Chiba that fit your budget! 🇯🇵🏡
