I love Alvaro Carreras and truth be told I think he should be our starting LB, but against Bayern or maybe strictly in the Champions League I’d prefer we go with Mendy as our LB for two reasons: 1. His experience. 2. His defensive abilities. You will hardly see a RW that got the best of Mendy. Infact I HAVE NEVER SEEN A RW GET THE BEST OF FERLAND MENDY SINCE HE JOINED US, NOT ONCE!!! Maybe they can share it and ask Carreras to play the league and Mendy the Champions League. Mendy brings lots of defensive balance to our team especially with Trent on the right. I’m interested in seeing that Olise vs Mendy battle.
