xdinary heroes talking about “farewell” as the theme of the DEAD AND album; 🐺: when I work on music, I often imagine myself as a character, and I found that the keyword I empathize with the most when writing songs is ‘longing’. even if it isn't a breakup, don't many people part ways with and let go of someone precious to them? I tried writing songs while recalling those memories, and since ‘longing’ is the keyword closest to farewell, i decided to make it the theme of this album. 🐹: just because we chose ‘farewell’ as the theme doesn't mean our team is saying goodbye. as we go through life, everyone experiences big and small partings, and I hoped that people would recall those memories while listening to our songs. always write songs with the hope that they will be of help to the world and resonate with people, and i wanted to comfort the hearts of those who have parted ways and said goodbye through this new song. 🐥: the original spelling of ‘Dead end’ which means a ‘dead end’ is ‘end’, but our album used ‘AND’. it signifies a new beginning rather than an end. in that sense, it reminded me of Voyager 1, which embarked on its own journey after completing its assigned mission. i believe that many people living in this world also sometimes feel confused and troubled about what to do next after finishing a mission. at that point, we wanted to convey the message that “there are many things that will make you shine even after this, and this is not the end.” m.entertain.naver.com/home/article/4…
