Also if being sidelined REALLY sticks in your craw that bad, the far more favorable solution to that is learning how to write your fucking self vs constantly coming at people that write shit you don't like sideways. Material and enthusiasm will make ppl want to share that space.

But that's just until ao3 adds it as a recognized tag, which usually doesn't take long. Authors can retroactively add the tag, and you can filter based on it. I fear you gotta curate your own experience.
