i am currently 30 years old. when i was born, it was already past the digital revolution “peak”: people had already personal computers at home, they were moving from 56k to ADSL, … but i was still seeing the debate in the nerds around me about where websites should be hosted. i always thought i was born either too late to have taken part of that - or too early to become a spaceship pilot but today, we’re back at it again: we’re living the intelligence revolution. and it is not about static websites anymore but true access to knowledge and capabilities. and i know that i do not want those two things to be gatekeeped by companies or governments. of course cloud ai will always be a thing - because its easier, because it has frontier model, … one shouldn’t cancel the other.
