my father passed away today, he was diagnosed with metastatic ampullary adenocarcinoma (Stage IV cancer) about 57 days ago, silly me previously even thought can live 10 more years looking at him (before diagnosis), it progressed so fast the past couple months, just came crashing

my relative tells me not to think too much, but I said its too late, part of me will think that I tried, part of me kept wondering what could I have done better? what should I have done better? did I miss something? was this my fault?
