For the sake of our country, Democratic and Republican leaders must immediately unite behind the results of a legitimate election. We are seeing the consequences of this disinformation playing out before our eyes.

As people storm security inside the Capitol, threaten Capitol Police officers and journalists, and chant pledges to the President who refuses to honor the results of the election, it’s clear: this is not a peaceful protest—it is a riot.
