@SamHarrisOrg One of the problems with the concept of "free will", are the assumptions with the notion of "free", as if there is some entirely independent state without context or interdependence. Therefore, "free" will is an illusion. What we do have is a spectrum of volitional capacity.

@Unpop_Science I think part of what makes social media a void, is that so many people are screaming, and so few are listening.
The resulting signal-to-noise ratio, tends to exhaust our collective capacity to engage with the information and respond constructively to it.
