Well, I guess the consequences of this election are already being felt. A story about Trump voters in Pennsylvania. The owner of a large company called a meeting for all his employees. He informed them that they won't be getting their Christmas bonuses this year. He explained that the company has to buy a year's worth of product before the Trump's tariffs hit in January. They said they thought the tariffs were paid by the foreign companies. He then explained to his employees that the tariffs are paid by the American companies who import these foreign goods. Sometimes, you get exactly what you vote for.

People really believe that politicians don't bring their personal belief into politics. I am... Y'all

I think that people often think that politics is abstract. I also think that people don't understand that both campaigns discussed economics.

In some spaces that I am in I am seeing conversations that I wish group moderators had allowed pre-election. In one group, someone was allowed to ask in what ways did people feel Trump being elected would impact their actual life.

Especially when people are quoting that same God that isn't here, as the reason they can do terrible things to people.

People can have faith, but they honestly need to understand that God still put them here to live through the consequences of this life and they have to be active in this life too.

There are a lot of religious people posting about God being the savior and the reason that they will make it through this, but like do y'all not realize how insensitive this is?
