How many times have you saved your company from bad decisions as a software engineer? Do you criticise what's written in the requirements or just implement what is given? 🤔💡 #SoftwareEngineering #CriticalThinking

@akhilesh_k_23 Agree 100%. I'm sure that tech people must be involved into requirements analysis from the very beginning.

@xpvit I criticise. Many times people who write requirements do not understand the E2E impact. They focus on one specific functional aspect. In one of my previous orgs, management hired fresh management grads with no domain knowledge as business analyst.Criticism helped there.

@ETsemirava @WebSummit I have same observation. Every fresh startup is obsessed with AI, but almost no AI sen on a bit later startup stages stages. I believe it's just a hype.

🤯 Mind-blown at @websummit Lisbon! Been walking around for 2 days and noticed something wild: Fresh startups: "AI ALL THE THINGS!" (literally every second booth) Established startups with real customers: Only a sprinkle of AI companies. Reality check or just FOMO in action? 😅 Anyone else seeing this?
