Today for the first time ever I got the courage to ask for Bollywood music in my OR. Much to my surprise my team AND co surgeon were bumping along w/ the beat. Growing up in the US, I was bullied for expressing my culture & to cope I tried to assimilate. Today that changes.

@joshmcgoo My father wrote his PhD thesis when I was 1. He says the hardest part was to leave me home crying. It's hard with children, but I'm so proud of him and I'm sure your daughter will be too. Good luck! (He mentioned me in his acknowledgements, maybe you could do smth similar)
