One can't blame Under Armour for milking every marketing opportunity from this. In a match that had two Adidas jewels: Yamal and Messi, it was a lesser brand that got the winning goal. It's a big win for Under Armour, and the fact those boots had a dual colour could make it very appealing to the younger generation. They ought to give Ferran Torres some bonus for giving them more visibility with that his goal.

Did you notice what Under Armour just did after Spain won the World Cup? Ferran Torres scores the goal that wins the biggest game in football. He's wearing Under Armour boots. Less than 24 hours later, Under Armour posts a photo with the caption: "The boots of a champion don't come in pink." That's not a random caption. It's a jab. Before the tournament, pink boots were everywhere. Nike had them. Adidas had them. Puma had them. They dominated the conversation and the marketing. Under Armour didn't try to win that conversation. They waited for the only moment that would matter. Because in football, trends come and go, but history only remembers one thing: who scored the goal that won the World Cup. That's what makes this brilliant marketing. They didn't tell us their boots were better. They let football make the argument for them

🚨 𝗠𝗔𝗝𝗢𝗥 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: CONMEBOL president Alejandro Domínguez has announced that the 2030 FIFA World Cup will have 64 participating teams, not 48. He also adds that the kickoff of the tournament will be in Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay in commemoration of the World Cup's centennial, after which it will move to the main venues in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco.
