Our work “Optical Spectroscopic Probing and Atomic Visualization of the Motion of N-Heterocyclic Carbenes on Ag(111)” was published by ACS Nano. Here, we combined tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (TERS) and scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) to study the mobility of NHC.@acsnano

2D spectroscopy at the nanoscale. We combine photothermal AFM detection with IR femtosecond pulse sequence to create the AFM-2DIR spectroscopy. It brings together two frontiers of IR.
