So teilen nur elf Prozent der Befragten die Einschätzung von Kanzler Merz, dass „große Teile“ des Migrationsproblems inzwischen gelöst seien. 78 Prozent widersprechen dieser Aussage ausdrücklich, elf Prozent machten keine Angabe. Auch unter Anhängern der Union findet die Einschätzung nur begrenzte Zustimmung: Rund jeder fünfte Unionswähler stimmt ihr zu, 73 Prozent nicht. Kritisch wird auch die Aussage von Arbeitsministerin Bärbel Bas bewertet, die im Deutschen Bundestag erklärt hatte: „Es wandert niemand in unsere Sozialsysteme ein.“ Dieser Aussage der SPD-Co-Vorsitzenden stimmen 20 Prozent der Befragten zu, während 57 Prozent sie vehement ablehnen.
