🚨 Kelp DAO rsETH Bridging Protocol Diretas – Kerugian Rp4,5 Triliun! Halo Sobat Crypto! Hari ini (19 April 2026), data on-chain dari Odaily dan ZachXBT mengonfirmasi: Kelp DAO’s rsETH bridging protocol (built on LayerZero) dieksploitasi. Hacker berhasil mencuri 116.500 rsETH senilai ±$292 juta (sekitar Rp4,5 triliun). Ini langsung jadi hack DeFi terbesar tahun 2026, mengalahkan kasus Drift Protocol. Apa yang terjadi? Attacker memanfaatkan celah di fungsi cross-chain messaging LayerZero (lzReceive di EndpointV2). Mereka “menipu” bridge agar mengira ada instruksi valid dari chain lain, sehingga mint rsETH palsu tanpa collateral. Lalu rsETH itu langsung dipakai sebagai collateral di Aave V3 (Ethereum + Arbitrum) untuk pinjam ETH asli dalam jumlah besar → ciptakan bad debt ratusan juta dolar. Aave, SparkLend, Fluid, Compound, Euler, Pendle, dan beberapa protocol lain terpaksa freeze rsETH market. Kelp DAO langsung pause kontrak core lewat emergency multisig (46 menit setelah exploit). Attacker funding wallet via Tornado Cash. Hingga sekarang, Kelp DAO masih investigasi bareng LayerZero, Unichain, dan auditor. Belum ada pengumuman recovery. Update terbaru (per 19 April pagi): Wrapped ETH stranded di 20+ chain. AAVE token sempat drop 10-13%. TVL Aave anjlok miliaran dolar karena panic withdraw. Total kerugian DeFi April 2026 saja sudah mendekati $600 juta hanya dari 2 kasus besar ini. Analisis akar masalah – kenapa ini bisa terjadi? 1. Bridge adalah honeypot terbesar di crypto. LayerZero punya vulnerability serupa dengan Wormhole hack 2022 (320M). Validasi cross-chain masih lemah. 2. DeFi composability = senjata mematikan. Oracle lag + LTV tinggi (93% di Aave E-Mode) membuat satu hack langsung cascade ke lending protocol. 3. AI bikin hacker lebih cepat. Seperti yang diperingatkan Ledger CTO, AI sekarang bantu temukan bug di smart contract dalam hitungan menit. 4. Privileged access & multisig risk. Mirip kasus Drift. Kasus serupa di tahun 2026 (baru 3,5 bulan!): - 1 April: Drift Protocol (Solana) rugi $285 juta – social engineering + kompromi multisig (diduga DPRK hackers). TVL ambruk >50% dalam 12 menit. - Puluhan kasus kecil lain: Rhea Finance, CoW Swap, Zerion, Silo Finance, dll. Total sudah >50 exploit sejak awal tahun. DeFi lagi “DeFail” mode. LST & restaking (narrative terpanas) jadi target empuk karena TVL-nya gila-gilaan. Apa yang harus diperbaiki di masa depan? Bagi protocol/dev: - Audit berlapis + formal verification + bug bounty jutaan dolar. - Timelock upgrade + decentralized pause mechanism yang lebih cepat. - Kurangi ketergantungan single bridge → pakai multi-bridge atau native cross-chain yang lebih aman. - Oracle real-time + collateral parameter yang lebih konservatif di lending. - Post-mortem transparan dalam <24 jam (bukan diam 3 jam seperti Kelp awalnya). Bagi konsumen (kamu & saya) – cara mitigasi agar tidak kena dampak: 1. DYOR gila-gilaan sebelum masuk protocol baru: cek audit terbaru, tim, TVL, history exploit, dan siapa auditornya. 2. Diversifikasi – jangan taruh semua di satu protocol atau satu jenis aset (rsETH, ezETH, eETH, dll). 3. Monitor aktif: Ikuti ZachXBT, DefiLlama, dan official handle. Kalau ada “suspicious activity”, withdraw dulu. 4. Revoke approval rutin & pakai wallet dengan limit (hardware wallet lebih aman). 5. Pahami risiko: High yield = high risk. Kalau protocol belum 1-2 tahun umurnya atau TVL-nya naik terlalu cepat → waspadai. 6. Self-custody untuk bagian besar asetmu. DeFi bagus, tapi “not your keys, not your coins” + “not your audit, not your money”. DeFi tetap powerful buat yield, tapi tahun 2026 ini lagi kasih pelajaran keras: security > FOMO.
