buying a house is such a dumb process, I don't understand why you need a solicitor an agent AND a broker. Add in the lender and that's 4 different parties you need to be speaking to. Not to mention the seller on the other side.

@nicola_hawkins 3. Your Conveyancer should have served notice on completion which is where they make the management company aware of the new owners, if this is not done or not done on time, charges can accumulate. Hope this has helped, happy to help with anything else!

@nicola_hawkins 2. The amount could have changed and you should have received the management pack and a report for this. This should have contained how much the service charge and ground rent is, including a statement of account showing how much has been charged for the last few years or so.

1/ Today I received a letter from managing agent saying I’m in breach of my lease & they are starting proceedings to take my flat away from me. For not paying a £5500 bill. On a flat I was sold where I was told it would be £600 per year. Less than 2 years ago.
