If any of my Aussies are on this page and you were at the MGK Melb show, chances are a stranger handed you a small piece of paper—14,200 of them, to be exact. The goal was to light up the stadium in green and yellow during Dingos tribute, it truly came to life!! A huge thank you to everyone who held theirs up and helped create something special. And to those who missed out, we’re sorry! As for anyone who got one and didn’t hold it up… respectfully, you suck 😝 How many opportunities in life are we given to give back to the artists we love in a way most can’t. Colson (MGK) gives us a refuge when reality feels too loud, gives us an outlet when words fail. His music meets us in the mess, fills the silence, carries us through the chaos & the joy, and for some of us there isn’t anything else that has ever held us together in quite the same way. Sometimes in life grieving can feel so lonely, especially when life still needs to go on around you. This tribute for Luke (Dingo) was a way to show Colson, the band & Luke’s family that through the darkness, his light still brings people together, and that love for him will always outshine the loss. A massive thank you to everyone who came together with us! Even bigger thank you to the girls who made this happen with me! You hustled hard! You’ve truly shown the spirit of what it means to be Aussie. 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
