I am yet to come across a more stupid statement than this. Does she even know the pressures the children face? My son did not score sufficiently high to get a MBBS seat. He could have done better next year but we did not press him to and were happy with him choosing BDS. Why? Because we saw the pressure he dealt with while giving NEET. The finance minister has made a callous statement which shows her out of depth.
Ramesh Srivats@rameshsrivats

Just heard Nirmala Sitharaman explain one of the benefits of the NEET leak and retest. I would like to apologize for my shallow complaints as I now understand the deep ways in which government makes citizens become better.

One of the most important charts for the next few months! Nifty closed at 23,787 with three live paths into the 25,050–25,400 resistance and the 55 WEMA base at 21,600–22,400. Base case (50%): the ABC completes into 24,800–25,200, gets rejected, and the index carves a final lower low near 21,800 before the structure resets. The bullish alternate (20%) needs a clean acceptance above 25,400 to open 26,300–27,000 as a fifth-wave extension. The bearish path (30%) skips the rally and works straight down to 21,700–22,200. Notice that two of the three end in the same zone; that's the point. The probabilities are the analysis, not the arrows. Every scenario on this map carries an invalidation level. Bookmark This ! I was packing my camera gear when I found a pen drive from my skydive in New Zealand. It brought back the rush in seconds. Now I’m getting ready for another adventure. A walking safari in Zambia, the birthplace of the walking safari. Few experiences can match exploring the wild on foot with lions and elephants somewhere nearby. I can’t wait.

@SandeepMall Whistle is the saftey valve of pressure cooker which releases excess pressure as well as alerts the cook. Now, when such whistles are banished then cooker is bound to follow the natural course. Bohot bhara baitha hai ye cooker.

@RajeshwariRW How do students admitted with lower marks manage to compete in college? Lower scores often mean a struggle with core concept so why pair them with top scorers who have a much stronger grasp? Isn't this organized harassment? Instead give them support at prep level or in schools.

India's real problem is bureaucracy and not these ministers. I don't think anyone in the current setup be it BJP or Congress has independent thinking power to take bureaucrats to their task.. That's why we need people like Jayalalitha but even she was not free from the clutches of bureaucrats

Everyone should resign and sit in house. =>People died in Indore because of poisonous water distribution =>IRS officers got caught with 500 cr illegal wealth =>2 PSLVs failed => Agriculture yield & Forest cover in India has been continuously decreasing => Many cases of illegal medicine => Fake paneer and adulterated food made everyone seriously ill => Road accidents continuously increasing => Industries are migrating to south east asia => Literally Flights crashed and we have no reports And etc for all ministries. Protestors found easy way to pressure. Every decision maker can resign but still India is affected systematically by crippled bureaucracy. This never changes. Ek cockroach aake jaayega, koi actual solution dene wala leader nahi aaya

Unpopular opinion: Buy-and-hold may not be the winning strategy for this decade. The next few years may reward traders more than long-term investors. Buy when panic peaks. Sell when euphoria returns. We're likely in a commodities supercycle. If crude heads toward $200+, expect persistent volatility driven by wars, defence spending, AI competition, and the global chip race. This may not be a classic bull market—it could be a long, stagflationary, sideways regime where timing matters more than conviction. The biggest winners won't necessarily be those who hold the longest. They'll be the ones who adapt the fastest.
