I think this girl forgets that her father is the biggest artist in the industry and consequently everything about him will generate returns and he deserves investment in everything made with his name, it's a fucking biopic.

I feel like Prince cares about this the most. But for some reason, his opinion and role in the making of the biopic are largely overlooked. I’ve been trying for years to understand why Paris gets so much support and leeway. It’s like Prince and Bigi don’t even exist. I just don’t get it.

Paris is right when she speaks ill of Branca. Everything about him is about ego. But I don't agree w her about not investing in the film and then saying there won't be a return. She's being very pessimistic and not thinking about her brother and cousin being involved in the film.

@yaaaaansiam @moonw4lkrx @SunshineMJ5 I was thinking this too. Isn’t that up to Lionsgate, Casting/Producer etc. when it comes to casting people anyway? I’m no major fan of MJ’s estate, but these sort of details I’m not so sure Branca had a hand in.

@yaaaaansiam @JacksonDynasty_ Also worth bearing in mind that Paris has attorneys speaking for her. Often attorneys are greedy and will egg on a client to get a bigger payday in the end. many of the statements were reading will be in her attorneys words, not hers.

@yaaaaansiam @JacksonDynasty_ His attorneys have been involved in these litigations too , so im sure he has had the same concerns. But maybe his way of dealing with the estate is simply different to Paris’. Doesn’t necessarily mean one is right or wrong, nor does it mean the 3 kids are at odds with each other

@yaaaaansiam @JacksonDynasty_ i can’t say because I’ve not seen the movie, but I’d say he likely wanted to portray himself in a good light and/ or wanted to be portrayed as being more close to Michael than he actually was.
i guess it’ll all become clearer when the movie is released.

@SunshineMJ5 The film will attract new viewers, new fans will appear, and consequently the Estate’s revenue will increase. So she will profit from it too. Why make a drama out of it?

@yaaaaansiam @JacksonDynasty_ It doesn’t take a blockbuster film expert to realise that reshoots and rewrites and postponing a film costs a LOT of money, and doesnt take a genius to know that a high flying lawyer should’ve known they arent to portray Jordan chandler in a film about MJ.
