This is a wake-up call. Sovereignty is no longer guaranteed it is defended. Any nation that cannot protect itself will have its future decided for it. Libya taught us. Venezuela is reminding us. Foreign powers come claiming to save, but leave chaos. Libya remains loudest warning.

@Dayonevirgo The country is divided. Some Muslims feel betrayed by Christians, while some Christians are misled. Nigeria has its problems, but it is not facing genocide. The insurgency we are experiencing is largely linked to the vast resources we have.

@yabmannTPS100 After his massive failure in Iran he's looking for an easy opponent. It's really sad that so many don't understand the level of violence and destabilization he will bring.

He’s not just after our oil, but also the vast natural resources spread across all the states. I hope those Nigerians shouting that Trump is coming to save Nigeria are ready, because what Iran is facing could be multiplied several times over for us.

Trump said the US was coming to give the Iranians back their country. They bombed their country, killed their top leaders and called for a coup but it didn't work. Now, he's feeling like coming back to Nigeria to continue where he stopped but the unfortunate truth is that the narrative has changed. Many of us that supported Trump's intervention have realised that we were grossly wrong. America is not coming to help Nigerians because there are currently US soldiers in Nigeria but the killings never ceased. And the US, who claimed to be fighting for Nigerian Christians, is also in support of reintegration of terrorists back into the society. Make it make sense. We can be foolish once but we can't be foolish forever, especially me. America cannot help us, neither the Europeans nor the Asians but ourselves. America is an exploiter, and nobody should accept them for whatever reason.

The US has released its new 'Africa strategy'. It's called "America first in Africa." Everyone needs to read this blackmail proposal.

Our corrupt leaders don’t even invest in weapons or properly equip our military, so we’re basically screwed.

@elonmusk Yes, some Africans were involved but who created the demand and scaled it into the Transatlantic Slave Trade? Europe profited for centuries first. You can’t twist a global system into “Africans did it to themselves.

You can’t reduce a global crime like that to “Africans did it to themselves” That’s not history that’s distortion.

And let’s not rewrite history Britain didn’t become a hero overnight. They profited heavily from slavery for centuries before banning it, then acted when it suited their interests.

Yes, some Africans were involved but who created the massive demand? Who built an entire global system around it? The Transatlantic Slave Trade wasn’t just “Africans selling Africans” it was driven and expanded by European powers on a scale the world had never seen.
Wanjiru Njoya@WanjiruNjoya

Africans were selling fellow Africans as slaves to Arab slave traders for CENTURIES before the first Europeans ever showed up. And when Britain banned the slave trade they got angry that their trade was being thwarted and refused to stop slave trading.

@soy_muse This isn’t hype, it’s adaptation. When your currency loses value, you adjust. Stablecoins became savings, payments, and dollar access not because we love crypto, but out of necessity. It’s not a full parallel economy yet, but the shift is real. We adapt 🇳🇬

A Nigerian 🇳🇬 freelancer wakes up Checks their USDT/USDC balance not their naira account Pays rent in stablecoins Receives client payments in stablecoins Sends money home in stablecoins for $0.01, not $7.60 This isn't a crypto story It's 25.9 million people quietly building a parallel dollar economy because their government's currency lost 60% of its value 43% of all crypto in Sub-Saharan Africa is now stablecoins Stablecoins don't need a use case

And one thing people should understand! Terrorists don’t stay where there is nothing of value. So ask yourself… what is really at stake here? With time, the truth will come out.

Oil, minerals, even uranium yet we keep suffering. Weak leadership has left the door open for exploitation and endless insecurity.

When Donald Trump pushed the ‘Christian genocide’ narrative late last year, many Nigerians rejected it immediately. Because we live here—we see the reality.

Most people don’t even realize how blessed Nigeria is. Even many Nigerians don’t understand it… what a shame. We have everything, yet we lack good leadership 😞 Terrorists don’t operate where there is nothing of value there is always something they are after.

All these things happening in Nigeria… those terrorists don’t have any religion. They kill Christians, Muslims, and anyone in their path. This is beyond religion these people are being sponsored. With time, the truth will come out.

Of course but if you tell some of my country people, they’ll say America is coming to save Nigeria. Yet since they got involved, the insurgency has only gotten worse. Now, almost every week, you hear that a town has been attacked or innocent people have been killed by terrorists.
