Hello, FRIENDZ~ I just wanted to come on here and say a few things. With each tour coming to an end, it brings new fans and new accounts into this fandom space, and I do genuinely love that, but it is often accompanied by a wave a negativity. At least for a short while. I've seen it happen after every tour, and know that it will go away soon enough. This time, however, I would like to just say my piece regarding some of it. We are happy to have new fans. We wouldn't have this community if we didn't want new fans. We wouldn't be telling everyone to join it if we didn't want new fans. We want TZ's success! But with being a new fan, please understand that there are some dynamics in place that might be very different than what you've seen with other groups. Or maybe you're not a new fan, and you've only recently gotten to see them, or you're new to this specific fandom space (X). Whatever it may be. This fandom was very, very small, for a very, very long time. And with that comes the simple fact that many of us have spent a lot of time with one another, and have had a lot of chances and opportunities to talk with the guys. No, no one is saying they're a better fan for being able to do this (or they shouldn't be), but that does mean a lot of us talk very casually about being able to speak to the guys. Yes, we know our place is still as fans, but you can't erase years and years of casual joking and conversations and turn it into something negative. I can speak for a lot of us, if not most of us on here, when I say that we just genuinely want what is best for both them and each other, so it does hurt me a little bit when I see so much negativity coming after such an overwhelmingly happy experience for a lot of people. Some FZ don't like me, and that's okay. You can call me a virtue signaler all you want, that's fine, but the fact of the matter is I am coming from a sincere place when I say this stuff bothers me. I love TZ and I love FZ with all my heart, it's the one fandom space I've genuinely and truly been happy in, and I know as they continue to grow, fandom dynamics will change, but I would like to do as much as I can to keep my little piece of heaven as happy as possible. The boys see more than you think. They see what we see. They see how close many of us are and they know that they're the reason for that. They're around, so please be mindful of that. Sometimes misunderstandings happen, don't be afraid to reach out to some of us, really. And sometimes...you just don't like someone, and that's fine! Your primary goal should be to protect your peace, so block and mute. Don't spend your days being bitter about others, I promise you that it will just make you miserable. You are free to make your fandom experience however you want it, but please don't go out of your way to negatively impact others. There should never be a reason to harass someone just for liking a member and sharing that. No one is trying to "claim" them. If someone is doing something seriously problematic, share it with us. We'll do something about it. I want to be the kind of fans that TZ can say they are proud to have. I want them to continue joking about how we live up to our name. I want to continue sharing these opportunities with people I care about, and please, please know that our circle is never closed. It's natural that there are some bonds that are closer than others, but every tour brings someone new in my life that I do immediately go "yeah, you're one of mine". So, yeah. That's what I wanted to say. You are intitled to your opinion and feelings, but please understand that some of us are just...used to things being a certain way because it's been like that for so long. That doesn't mean that change isn't welcomed, but be careful not to view this space and this group from a perspective that doesn't match reality. All my love to you guys.
