I do wonder if Ilya thought he’d never have kids? Or rather, that he’d never become a father. Before Shane I don’t think Ilya thought of the future very much. I don’t think he could picture a life beyond hockey. I don’t think he could picture growing old either…

And this is Ilya functioning without crazy baby fever. Give him a few years and he’ll be bouncing off the walls, wanting a baby NOW!! (Ughh, why can’t he just get Shane pregnant😔💔)

I just know Ilya’s reels and tiktok fyp are filled to the brim with cute baby/toddler videos. About once a day he’s showing one to Shane. They gaze at each other lovingly knowing that that will be their future soon :,)
