gpt-5.5 pricing just dropped and it's already more expensive than claude (limits but....). think about what's actually happening here.
every time a model gets smarter it burns more tokens to think. more tokens = more compute. more compute = higher cost per response.
at some point running one hour of frontier AI will cost more than one hour of a human expert.
we're closer than anyone wants to admit?
