My current rule: If the first version needs more than 2 days, the idea is too big. The goal is not to build the final product. The goal is to create one useful moment and see if anyone wants more.

Week 2. This week I need to stop talking about building and actually ship something people can try. Goal: pick one tiny app build the ugly version show screenshots get feedback learn if anyone cares No hiding in research.

Week 1 lesson: Followers are not the real goal. The real goal is becoming someone people associate with: - shipping - learning fast - useful breakdowns - honest numbers - apps that might work Followers are downstream of that.

My current belief: The best first product is probably not a SaaS. It’s a tiny paid result. Something like: - audit - template - report - generator - redesign - automation One clear outcome. Small price. Fast delivery.

What would be more interesting to follow? 1. Building one app for 30 days 2. Building one tiny app every week 3. Studying profitable apps and copying patterns 4. Publicly trying to make first $1K online I’m deciding the format for next week.

Day 5. Weekly reset. This week was about choosing the direction: building small apps in public until one makes $10K/mo. Next week has to be about proof: - screenshots - demos - feedback - users - maybe first dollar

End of Day 4: Big lesson so far: Building in public forces clarity. If I can’t explain what I built in a post, the product probably isn’t clear enough either.

Studying successful apps makes one thing obvious: The product is only half the game. The other half: - positioning - screenshots - landing page - onboarding - pricing - distribution A useful app can still lose if nobody understands it fast.

I think a good tiny app has one obvious button. Bad: “Explore your dashboard” Better: “Upload screenshot” “Paste job post” “Analyze receipt” “Generate page feedback” The first action should be impossible to misunderstand.

@anupamrjp Agree, it takes time and effort and definitely doesn’t sound as easy but it’s only doable because of how good AI has become

the biggest competitor to dev agencies isn’t another agency. it’s a founder with AI, a weekend, and a credit card. agree or disagree?
