@storybookjs @vitest_dev I tried component testing with the vitest plugin and it works very well! The last blocker for me is the lack of code coverage metrics. I need vitest to take my stories into account when running the tests with coverage on.

Vite in Storybook is so incredibly broken that it's making me want to stop trying to use Storybook altogether. I keep getting errors loading MDX files because Vite is generating or requesting chunks with the wrong hash suffix, or something like that.
