I'm just a visitor to this place, this time. My purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to Love... and then i return home.

Discovery of thousands of Earthworks where they were never supposed to exist, the Amazon, rocked the Archeological World some years ago, Now a New study provides their shocking age. Ancient Amazonian Earthworks & Roads published this month in Latin American Antiquity makes the definitive statement that the oldest of these constructs are from 2,700 years ago. However their is a humorous part to the study as well, these structures that nobody knew existed until recently & weren’t supposed to exist have all of a sudden been assigned to a culture. They call it the “Aquiry geoglyph building culture” to which I say stop the cap. Just admit we have no idea, why is that so hard?

The elegant dancer of the reeds. 💃🌊 Red-necked Grebes are back and reclaiming their territory with those deep rufous necks and piercing gazes. A true sign that the boreal spring is entering its most vocal phase. #SpringMigration #Birding #BirdPhotography
