By proposing a concept of ‘immobility-mobility nexus’, I demonstrate how the temporal-spatial experiences of an extended while fixed stay in Australia during the pandemic lockdowns can simultaneously enhance and restrict temporary migrant workers’ immobility in multiple ways.
