Do not dm me, I am not a good woman and I have a lot of feminine rage.

Today has been a tough one. For my Constituents and largely residents of the Greater Accra and Volta Regions. The flooding was devastating, and the damage may never be fully recovered from. My heart really goes out to those whose properties, homes and livelihoods have been destroyed. We must, however, have a really frank conversation as a Country. Buildings in waterways, over silted drains, poor town planning, irresponsible disposal of garbage, sand winning activities, the list is endless. As elected officials and citizens, we are responsible for the mess we are in as a Country. Tough decisions MUST be taken irrespective of who is affected. Failure to do so will see us all pay a heavy price in the near future. I am grateful to the team from NADMO Ghana, the Ghana Navy, and my District Chief Executive, Hon. Raphael Uriel Nartey, who worked tirelessly from 2am to save lives and property. There's more rain on the way. We need to brace ourselves and prepare. Stay safe, folks. For God and Country.

Dr. Bawumia at Atala to assess the flooding situation in the area. #GBCNews #floods

You all are proud of how Aniya handled that conversation because you lack proper communication skills. Cutting someone off repeatedly, not acknowledging a situation full scope, or shutting them down/invalidating someone when, even a little gaslighting isn’t the way to go at all. You can literally see KC shut down and give up on the conversation. That was so poorly handled!
