It’s a privilege because of time poverty also. There’s a view passed down to children from families in survival mode that engaging in hobbies is not a cost-effective use of time

i used to think about it but i also feel like not everyone can afford it. being able to pursue your hobby is a privilege. some people just on their survival mode. they wake up every day to do the same routine. and i'm being less judgemental about people not having hobbies now.
