This is an atrocious strategy. The Palestinian people are not synonymous with Hamas. Punishing innocent civilians with these cruel and inhumane tactics will fail and backfire. This helps no one.

It has been truly depressing this weekend to watch grown adults gloss over mass murder by terrorists because they view the victims as necessary collateral against an oppressive government. In what reality is slaughtering innocent people aligned with a human rights framework?

I am not an expert on a lot of things, but I will say this, since I actually *am* very experienced in this arena: Viewing videos/images of extremely graphic violence in large quantities can have a profoundly negative longterm impact on your wellbeing if unchecked.

At first I thought it was just poor impulse control but it's possible that DeSantis legitimately did not realize that he was picking a fight with the most litigious entity in human history

Florida has banned AP Psychology because it includes accurate, scientific information on gender identity and sexual orientation. We have reached yet a new severe level of hateful absurdity from anti-LGBTQ extremists in power.

funny how in retrospect trump was pretty much almost exactly as bad as people thought he would be. like the more upset someone was on election night in 2016 the better their predictions have likely aged. the few things where he wasn't that bad were mainly due to incompetence.
