*First National Study on UK Muslim Converts Since 2001 is Now Live!* 📖 ☪️ The *Islamic Education and Research Academy (iERA)* and *Convert Muslim Foundation (CMF)* have commissioned a nationwide study, led by the *Ayaan Institute*, to better understand conversion to Islam in Britain, and *you 🫵 are invited to be part of it!* This study, launched today promises to solve one of Britain’s most underreported religious shifts: the rapid, quiet growth of the country’s Muslim convert population. While government data tracks ethnicity and traditional faiths, there is currently no reliable national dataset on people who embrace Islam. Estimates vary from 30,000 to over 150,000. We’re _gathering real, honest experiences of Muslim converts_ today to: • *Map* an accurate national picture 📊 • *Understand* their journeys 🌟 • *Build* for their needs 🤲 👉 _If you know someone who is a convert:_ 📲Forward this message and encourage them to take part. 👉 _If you are a Muslim convert:_ 📝 Share your story and take the survey: Individuals.gbmcs.org 🔒 100% anonymous & secure ⏱️ Takes just 10 minutes

@Ibn_Asad2 This is evil, disgusting, racism from Trump, openly targeting the Somali community. It is collective punishment, and I'm sure it is in part tied to a vindictive attack against Ilhan Omar. Any person with with even a grain of decency should oppose this.

@ammarkazmi Yes. At the moment, the Green Party looks like the only left alternative to Your Party. That said, Ayoub Khan has provided good leadership in Birmingham over the Aston Villa match.

Shameful. The famalies of British citizens snatched by Israel in International waters as part of the #Gaza aid flotilla are desperate to know they’re safe and not being subjected to degrading treatment, as reported by eyewitnesses. This is another dereliction of duty by UK gov.

Keir Starmer’s spokesman asked about Israel detaining British citizens who were on the Gaza aid flotilla, while in international waters, replies that it is a “matter for the Israeli Government”

Prof. @JonathanACBrown is currently being investigated (and has been relieved of his position at @Georgetown) because of a Zionist-led witch hunt against him due to a tweet that was clearly attempting to demonstrate that violence doesn't result in peace. Regardless of whether one believes the sarcasm in his tweet was wise or not, the double-standards of 'investigating' someone who showcases Israeli violences, while ignoring the thousands of voices that call for Palestinian extermination and who cheer the Israeli genocide is hypocritical and damning. Why is one side justified in its violences and bombing, and the other side not? That is the point of the professor's tweet, and it is a valid question that needs to be asked. Feel free to engage in dialogue, and to answer that question with facts, but placing a tenured professor on academic leave for speech that might be provocative goes against everything that the academy allegedly stands for.

NEW: After a campaign to dishonestly portray him as calling for Iran to strike a U.S. base, Georgetown professor Jonathan A. C. Brown has been removed as chair of his department, is currently on leave, and is now under an internal university review. The update came during testimony today from interim president Robert M. Groves before a House of Representatives hearing on so-called “antisemitism” in higher education. Groves said the university contacted Brown within minutes of his tweet, which was later deleted. The tweet was widely misrepresented as advocating an Iranian attack on U.S. forces. In fact, Brown was making the point that with some sort of retaliation expected from Iran after US attacks on the three Iranian nuclear facilities, instead of responding by indiscriminately bombing civilian targets as Israel does in Gaza and Iran—he hoped Iran would instead pursue the kind of limited, coordinated, and telegraphed strikes it has carried out in the past. That context was stripped from much of the public outrage that followed. Brown, who was chair of the Islamic Studies Department at Georgetown, has been an outspoken opponent of Israel’s genocidal war.

Ok, so this finally happened. I was reviewing an edited volume for a reputable university press. One chapter in the suggested book was completely AI generated. Unclear to me why the editors did not spot this. We are all in for a rough ride.

🚨🇮🇱🇫🇷BREAKING: Israel is threatening EU Parliment member Rima Hassan- “I’ll smash your head against the wall”- and other activists of the Madleen Freedom Flotilla: Testimony of Al Jazeera journalist Omar Faiad, who has just been released said that Israel is threatening activists who refuse to sign the “papers”. “For example, MP Rima Hassan is still there. She refuses to sign the papers and was directly threatened by an officer who said: “I’ll smash your head against the wall if you don’t sign. We’ll handle this our own way.””

‼️“I don’t want my father to die! It’s over, there won’t be any smile anymore. It’s all gone.” These were the words of Layan al-Daghma, the daughter of Khaled al-Daghma, who was killed today at the so-called “Fish Fresh” aid point in Rafah, run by the Gaza “Humanitarian” Foundation. Khaled had gone out to help transport people so they could get food for their starving families. He came back in a body bag. His daughter cried that they had been starving for three months, and now she wishes it had been her instead. The Foundation, falsely presented as an aid initiative, is being used by the Israeli occupation as a tool of control and humiliation, drawing desperate people into deadly traps instead of delivering real aid. Similar incidents have been happening every day at all GHF points. Today, multiple casualties were reported at the Netzarim point as well. So far, 9 martyrs have been confirmed at the Fish Fresh point, with more arriving. Source: samer.alboji (IG)

⚡️JUST IN: Pep Guardiola, while receiving an honorary degree from the University of Manchester, gave a powerful speech about Gaza: "It is so painful what we see in Gaza, it hurts all my body...it is not about ideology but the love of life...It is about refusing to be silent or still when it matters the most"
