Every accredited FOREIGN journalist who wishes to cover SOUTH LEBANON MUST:
1- Acquire a permit from the Ministry of Information (without it, you will be in breach of the law)
2- Acquire a "South Lebanon MEDIA COVERAGE" permit from the Army (renewable every month)... NOT a permit for foreigners to visit South Lebanon, which the Intel unit in Saida provides to foreign visitors of the South.. The foreign visitors' permit does NOT entail any foreigner to conduct a MEDIA COVERAGE in South Lebanon, and if the visiting foreigner carries out media coverage with such a "foreign visitors' permit", then she/he would be in breach of the laws... SOME Foreigner recently claimed that she had a Lebanese Army permit to cover the events in South Lebanon. Her permit is a visit permit NOT coverage permit.. so beware of those people who work illegally in Lebanon and who try to insinuate they have the right permits. (REAL JOURNALISTS know the difference between permits)
BEWARE THAT:
3- Entering Lebanon on a visit visa and working without permits makes the FORIGNER subject to prosecution...
4- Threatening/ attempting to intimidate an ACCREDITED NATIVE LEBANESE JOURNALIST for raising concerns and questions about the LEGALITY of that FOREIGNER's presence and work, is also a breach of the law in Lebanon.
5- NOT being accredited as a reporter in your native foreign country, NOR in Lebanon and claiming to be a journalist or a freelance journalist, means you are IMPERSONATING being a reporter/journalist and that is a breach of law.

سؤال, اذا عرفنا ان صحفي اجنبي عم يشتغل بشكل غير شرعي بلبنان، و انفضح، و بعدها راح عالمطار وسافر.. يعني انسمح له انه يطلع من المطار بهالسهولة بدون توقيف... ساعتها مين المسؤول.. ومع مين متابع؟ الجهات الامنية أو القضائية؟
مزحة تقيلة: حدا يخبر خالد العايدي انه اذا استحصل على جنسية اميركية او اسرائيلية ممكن يطلع بسهولة من لبنان..
الحمد لله ان فضيحة إحداهن، فتحت اعين الناس لوجود اجانب من الجنسيات الغربية عم يشتغلوا صحافة و تجميع معلومات ونقلها بلا تراخيص وبالتالي الناس رح تمنعهم بإذن الله يشتغلوا الا اذا استحصلوا ع اوراق رسمية.. #كل_مواطن_خفير

Why is the army leaving southern Christian villages? Is it because they received orders from Hezbollah so their militants can infiltrate them and turn them into Israeli targets? Or do we have a better explanation? Regardless of the reason: shameful army, shameful government.

Just to clarify, since some don’t seem to understand: 1) This death sentence will be delivered by military courts, there’s no jury, no representation 2) These military courts try Palestinian children 3) A child who throws a stone can be deemed a “terrorist” and now put to death.

My worst nightmare for Lebanon is coming true, and I am beginning to seriously question my assumption that Israel does not want to annex Lebanese territory The Defense Minister's statement today that Israel will occupy a part of Southern Lebanon after the war is inexcusable How can they expect to get rid of Hezbollah, which was founded because of Israel's occupation of Lebanon, if their goal is to occupy Lebanon again?!

باعترافها هي، انها غير معتمدة صحفيا من اميركا (لما وصلت ع لبنان ركضت ت تجيب تصريح من مينت برس و انسحب منها بعد تخوف مينت برس انها ليس لديها اي تصريح.. بالتالي باعترافها لم يكن لديها اي رسائل اعتماد من اميركا قبل مجيئها للبنان)

- جاليسا دوغروت دخلت لبنان بفيزا سياحية وليس فيزا عمل وهي مخالفة لشروط دخولها.
-لا تصريح لديها من وزارة الاعلام (لم تذهب لوزارة الاعلام شخصيا بل اتصلت بهم على الهاتف... اكيد رفضوها.. لكنها بالرغم من الرفض استمرت بالعمل بشكل غير شرعي في لبنان)..
-تدّعي انها لديها تصريح رقم ١٠٨ من الجيش. التصريح هذا مسجل بإسم امرأة اوروبية باسم غير اسم جاليسا دوغروت.. اساسا اي تصريح من الجيش لشخص متل حالتها لازم يجدد كل شهر وهالشهر ما فيه اي تصريح بإسمها.
- ليست معتمدة من اي مؤسسة اعلامية في اميركا و تقول عن نفسها صحفية freelance.. حتى مينت برس يلي سحبوا منها رسالة الاعتماد قالوا انها اتصلت بهم من لبنان من اجل رسالة اعتماد مقابل ارسالها تقارير لهم.. هي لحد السنة الماضية كانت عم تشتغل بشركة دفاع تتعامل مع القيادة المركزية الاميركية وليس كصحفية..
- هي حاولت بنهاية العام ٢٠٢٤/بداية ٢٠٢٥، بينما كانت مع تلك الشركة انها تبلش تدخل بين مجموعات تدعم المقاومة على تويتر (اليمنيين/اللبنانيين بالاخص). طلب مني احد الاصدقاء اليمنيين الاستماع لها و تدريبها و قلت له مستحيل قبل ان ارى من هي.. دخلت على مساحتين لها كانت في ذاك الوقت تفتح مساحات لتتكلم عن السياسة معظم معلوماتها مغلوطة و نقلا عن الاعلام. يعني بتنقل حكي منشور فيه كتير امور غير صحيحة عشان تقول للعالم انها بدها تصير صحفية لاحقا. كتبت تغريدة ب فبراير ٢٠٢٥ عن الموضوع اني اشك بها انها تخلق خلفية لها تحضيرا لامر ما وقلت ان هذا رأيي الخاص بناء على ما سمعته من طريقة كلامها و خلفيتها..

Jokes aside, this is actually really telling. In no other circumstance would AP feel it has to explain/justify reporting news accurately. They only feel the need to do this because they are constantly being hounded by pro-Israel orgs like CAMERA that demand a pro-Israel bias.
