Senator @CoryBooker spoke for over 24 hours nonstop, fighting Trump and Musk’s unconstitutional takeover.
He shattered a Senate record once held by segregationist Strom Thurmond, who tried to block civil rights.
This is the bold leadership we need from Democrats.
The Young Democrats of Arizona congratulate Kiana Sears on her historic appointment as Senator for LD9.
We are excited to see Senator Sears bring her outstanding leadership and deep expertise on water, housing, and education to the legislature.
Trump cannot get rid of the Department of Education without Congress.
His attempt is unconstitutional and will harm disabled and low-income students who rely on the agency to access quality education.
Contact your representative and tell them to get to work.

We strongly support the passage of SB1453–while university presidents rake in almost $1 million per year, students face rising tuition costs and staff live paycheck to paycheck.
It’s time to use higher education funding to actually make higher education more accessible.
Trayvon Martin should be celebrating his 30th birthday today.
While walking home, Trayvon was profiled, pursued, and killed—his life stolen because of racist assumptions. His killer walked free.
Happy heavenly birthday, Trayvon. We will never stop fighting for justice.
@Jeremilemagne Hey! Apologies for the oversight—your message was hidden. This would probably be a better question for the state or national Democratic party.
Our DMs are open for support and for those who are interested in joining us. We are here to help however we can. Let’s get going.
A message from the YDAZ Executive Board:
Happy Black History Month!
We are grateful for the work our local Black elected officials do every day, ranging from housing security, to reproductive freedom, to criminal justice reform and access to education.
According to @ASU, “free speech” includes targeted, organized hate speech and racial profiling, but does not include protesting against genocide.
The lukewarm statement makes one thing crystal clear: ASU will not protect students of color against white supremacists. ⬇️
