@Asmodoues @CPTNPHOEBUS @pannekook perfect, so just suck it up like a champ and stop victimising yourself haha
English

@yddirg @CPTNPHOEBUS @pannekook Telling someone they're annoying means feeling out the situation and determining how they will react (some react poorly!). This is a meaningful amount of interpersonal work/stress to do for a stranger's benefit. Expecting people to do that for you all the time is unreasonable.
English

sometimes i feel like the way people talk about autism on this website obscures the fact that it mostly makes you very bad at recognizing when something you’re doing is annoying
Gigachadess@Ogrehon
If you have autism people simply just hate you. It’s probably something evolutionary. You just give off an aura that causes people a low level rage
English

@zuzu__omelete @pannekook Not really, they usually make us a target 💔💔 I suppose they’re just bored and stupid and lack basic human decency but it does get tiring yknow? Like we’re not your babysitters?? Lol but c’est la vie!
English

@yddirg @pannekook It sounds awful indeed! I really hope people can act nicer after learning about your autismo, though! I mean, that should be basic human empathy I guess 😢
English

@CPTNPHOEBUS @pannekook I think you’re mistaking social convention with social trends; some people are different and take more offence at being alienated by their peers because it makes them feel bad and this is usually considered rude :/
English

@yddirg @pannekook i don’t see the utility in assigning bad faith to everything others do. many people (yes, even autistic people) do in fact take offense in being told that the way they express themselves is bad or annoying. it’s not a social convention for no reason

@CPTNPHOEBUS @pannekook it’s not considered rude if you’re not rude about it? It’s kinda selfish not to actually. but then again most people do become rude and condescending at any given chance. But yeah, definitely not ideal, hence why most logic-based autistics won’t engage in such behaviour
English

@yddirg @pannekook it’s considered rude to tell somebody that they’re being annoying. the polite thing to do according to most people’s social standards is to just grin and bear it, but many people are not very good at doing that, so they let on nonverbally that they’re annoyed w/o saying it aloud

so I was watching this movie in parts and then it stopped loading right after she’s in her car, happy, with her newfound boyfriend about to move to SE, and that’s it, that’s where the movie ended for me
