#Yearbook Tweet of the Day: when your new books show up, open the boxes immediately. Even if weeks early. Examine for any possible errors or damage. Waiting means no time for your company to react with a fix. Let your rep know right away if correction is needed. #wereready.

#Yearbook Tweet of the Day: and the countdown is on to the last day of school! May seems to be for tests & cruising, not much accomplished. Change that this year with your book. Make May the month of planning & organizing for next yr. More now, less later. Then smile into summer.

#Yearbook Tweet of the Day: any spring sports teams headed for playoffs? Action could continue into June? Don’t stop coverage because the school yr is ending. Those teams deserve FULL coverage in book, supplement, social media, elsewhere. Tell championship stories, saved forever.

From the lighter side of news: had a walking taco lately? No such thing: axios.com/local/philadel…. Tacos have always been portable - a walking taco? Maybe it needs a new name. How about a Fritos mashup? @Fritolay, new product alert...

#Yearbook Tweet of the Day: enjoy Cinco de Mayo yesterday? But do you even know what that is? Do a history web search. Your yearbook is the “web search” of this year. What will be remembered? Will people find useful info there? Might be time to upgrade your yearbook browser.

#Yearbook Tweet of the Day: it’s Teacher Appreciation Week. And today is National Teacher Day. Challenges continue for educators – make the whole month of May one to celebrate them. Time to tell TEACHER stories this month, don’t ignore those. They’re a BIG part of your school.

#Yearbook Tweet of the Day: with all those Star Wars puns today, some yearbook Jedi jargon–“Your focus determines your reality.” “Try not. Do or do not, there is no try.” Or “I like firsts. Good or bad, they’re always memorable.” Think about those for next yr. #Maythe4thbewithyou

BTW today is also National School Lunch Hero Day. Find ways today to honor the lunch ladies/folks who create an estimated 30 million school lunches every day. #Yearbook worthy? Oh the stories they can tell. Never too late to find & tell them. Need May material? #whoopthereitis

#Yearbook Tweet of the Day: MAY DAY, MAY DAY! That’s today but also a call for help. Summer/fall delivery book work dragging? Still too many unsold books? Kids already checked out for summer? Contact your company or rep for help & ideas. Make May a productive month. #carpediem

#Yearbook Tweet of the Day: wow, end of April already. Today is National Honesty Day. How has your yearbook year gone? Might be time for some honest conversations with your staff: what went well? What clunked? What’s needed? What needs change? Have those chats. #perspectives

#Yearbook Tweet of the Day: heard of pay it forward? This yr’s staff can do that for next yr’s group. Brainstorm theme, train new editors, improve skills, setup sales plans, show the fun side of #yearbooking. August/Sept. is busy enough. Do some prep work now, enjoy summer later.

#Yearbook Tweet of the Day: working on next year’s theme? Can’t decide? For spring books, on distribution day let students vote on your theme finalists. It’s a straw poll, not binding, but it could give your staff direction on what’s trending with students. Take a hint. #kidsknow

#Yearbook Tweet of the Day: it’s late April, so what? It’s never too late to tell student stories. In your summer delivery book, spring supplement, social media, around school, every way possible. People are counting on YOU to remember them. Answer the call. #storiesalwayshappen

@SnoopScg No kidding. But the comparison is still interesting in how fast it happened. McD’s is trying to hearken back to the old days but will never get there.

Very interesting reading from our favorite info outlet: visualcapitalist.com/ranked-the-sma…. Some AIs here that I haven't even heard of. And another example of a great infographic -#yearbook staffs, give this a try. Turn dry info into a fun read, gets them every time...
