No offense, but the way some of you believed the series was written by someone from MGI is honestly wild to me, LMAO. The Water, regardless of your opinions (and I'm seeing a LOT today), is doing well. It's capturing people's hearts, because we keep seeing viewers, even outside the fandom (from our neighbouring fandoms, for example), genuinely enjoying it and praising it. That's why I'm almost in disbelief that some of you thought this was MGI level, because now I'm wondering if we're even watching the same thing. Sure, there are some differences from the novel that people are pointing out, but is it really that bad? I haven't read the novel myself, so maybe that helps me not feel too attached to it, but even knowing about the changes, and while some scenes could have been more faithful to the novel or the pacing could have been a bit better in this episode, overall it is still doing a good job telling Apo and Chonlada's story.
It is making people want to eagerly see the next episode every time one ends. It is making people want to talk about it. It is making outsiders want to praise them. And I don't know, I just prefer to look at it in a more positive way. That is not to say we should not complain or speak up when it is needed (we did that with the ticket sale, and for good reason, for example), but in this case, regarding this episode, is there really a need for such a big commotion over it? I will leave that for you all to decide, because I am not going to do that for you. But given that this may be their last project together, because it really could be (whether we like to think about it or not), let's enjoy it. That is all I ask. And again, you can criticize all you want, but maybe question whether it is worth it. Especially because, at times, and not trying to offend anyone with this (since it's common behavior, we all do it), discussions can start to reflect a more shared perspective as people influence each other. We sometimes need to stop and think about what we personally believe, not just what everyone else is saying, and ask ourselves again if it is really worth it. If it is, then by all means go ahead, just remember to be respectful. That is all.
(Hope this doesn't get misunderstood, since that happens sometimes..…)
