It’s fascinating to me that we all can see an animal in labor, seeking out a dark, warm private place to give birth to their babies in quiet confidence and we instinctively know to leave them alone and not disturb them. And yet with women subject them to radiation and constant monitoring by machines, we poke them and prod them, talk to them as if they are children, starve them under bright lights and inject them with numbing agents and expect that to improve outcomes. It’s madness.

It’s only when you grow up and consider what it takes to put hands on a child do you realize your parent(s) was likely clinically insane

@_alineramos Eu sou mãe 100% solo já tem 8 anos d um boy de 8 anos. Eu nem entro nesses debates pq é SEMPRE a mesma coisa: homens, mulheres que ñ têm filhos ou mulheres que têm filhos mas ñ os criam, dando opiniões absurdas. Mães q têm filhos e criam d verdade, sabem como a coisa funciona.

pô galera, quando a fernanda fala que o tempo dela passou ela não fala apenas de idade. também é uma reflexão sobre maternidade. a noção do tempo muda de pessoa pra pessoa de acordo com as nossas experiências.

@comfysarah I also never had any abandonment trauma since I was adopt because my biological parents died, it’s not that they didn’t want me but they died so I my adopt family is my only family and I love them

@comfysarah I was adopted at birth and I am happy love my family, love my mom who adopted me and never got an issue with that, I always knew I was adopted and I never felt bad for it actually I feel good and loved

@VitMammaBjorn I slept with my newborn baby since day one. Funny thing is that before having my baby I almost fell for the “never sleep with your baby” American rule. As soon as I had her in my arms it fell instinctively right to sleep with her, it fell just natural and I knew what I had to do.
