@NigeriaStories How relevant is NYSC certificate to success in life? That is d question no one seems to be interested in answering. This young lady has nothing to lose if she doesn't complete her NYSC. There are no jobs that she will miss out on. She doesn't need NYSC certificate to go to Canada

✨Today is World Vitiligo Day. I was diagnosed at the age of 24/25 with vitiligo. Mine was induced by trauma. For a long time I use to feel like I did something wrong and had a hard time with self acceptance. I hid it so well that many around me didn’t know I actually had it. When my skin had a lot of contrast, I would wear full body make up. Stay indoors and rarely go to the beach or pool. Summers were the worst! A few years ago, I decided to share my journey with the world through my creative initiative, Wildflower Fields. the more I shared, the more liberated I felt. The more DMs I would get of others who were struggling with self esteem too. Today, I only have about 5% of my brown melanin left on my skin. I wear a lot of sunscreen and take care of myself by managing my stress and anxiety. One thing that I am in awe of everyday is that what I use to hide is now being exhibited around the world, in galleries, exhibitions, The United Nations, and even the Metaverse! God is good!
